It all starts with a survey.

Our team checks everything. Our highly trained inspectors conduct supplier surveys to verify potential suppliers, conduct first article sample reviews in conjunction with Engineering, and perform in process quality control (IPQC) and finished goods quality control (FGQC). Once product is received into our facilities, we randomly inspect product again using AQL standards to ensure that only good product is run to the shelves.

It ends with you satisfied and worry free knowing that your product has passed through multiple points of inspection so you can focus on your business.

• QC team consists of 15 trained inspectors (both international and domestic), each with their own expertise in various manufacturing processes and product familiarity.
• QC department works closely with CHG Engineering to ensure product information is correct from the beginning and inspection criteria is up to date.
• In process quality control (IPQC) and finished goods quality control (FGQC) for every item and every shipment is documented in a companywide shared file.
• Video conferencing between teams and factory personnel conducted on first shipments with overseas factories when required.
• In the unlikely event of an issue, 8D reports are initiated to determine root cause and put corrective actions in place. These are shared with sales when requested to ensure the flow of information gets to the customer.
• KPI tracking systems record every aspect of the quality process.
• QC provides assistance to ALL departments in ALL locations such as, product questions, packaging issues, decision making, etc.
• Assists in audits conducted by regulatory agencies (UL, ETL, NSF, CSA, etc).
• Occasional travel to both suppliers and/or customers to resolve issues in person when requested.
